NO! It the Last lesson with Izzy

Today was the last lesson with Izzy. Our class tried our best to make Izzy proud of us. once we arrived at the hall we all have to give our best. We been learning new hip hop moves for 5 weeks. When the hip hop lesson was over she gave us certificate and there was a 7 day free at Izzy studio.

I have improve. Last time I had 88% now I have 90%. All

I have to do is think faster instead of counting my fingers.

Next week I should get a 97% or 96% so I can go to stage  

kapa haka festival

 On November the 24th at Ruapotaka marae some of our Glen Innes students went and participated in the kapa haka festival. They went because it was a tremendous competition and a celebration of the te kotuku festival.

Prototec T4W3

Today I have remain the same. Yesterday I got 88%
on prototec. All I have to do is go faster on my
basic facts.

Prototec T4W2

I have improve from last terms basic facts. I had 75%
last term and now I have 85%. I just need to
go faster on my subtraction up to 20.
At the end of the year I might be on stage 6.          

Dance

My class and I were playing rock, paper, scissors but the

dance version in the hall. There was 4 teams, and

what we have to do is two team walk up to the middle

then we have to do a paper or rock and scissors post well the

other 2 teams vs as well.

For the last thing at hip hop we have to do this hand dances.

We have to follow the hip hop teacher the hand dances.

it was so hard but with the music it was so fun.

     

        

Project: composting and worm farming

This term my group of sale, brian,tama and I made this project.

Our inquiry investigation question was,investigating how long it takes worms

to eat.  First, we used the internet to research our topic.

Then we constructed this project. I Drawed the background

with brown, brian and sale was drawing the worms and the 3 apples and

then tama wrote the the topic on the side of the box. We used tape, box,

paper, and colour pencils. Almost everything was easy

but finding a box was difficult to find.

This project made me learn something about worms. It says 17

worms eat 3 apples in 1 hour, that what I learn from our project.

The first result I had in week 
1 term 3 is 73% now i'm up to 85% now. 
I wasn't here most of the 
times at school and we didn't do 
the basic facts most of the days. 
I thing on the end of the year I will get up to stages 6.            


  

Using Hot and Cold colours

Today we were doing this kind of art from this artist named Karl Apple.

 His style is putting line across the the paper and colouring hot colours 

in the inside and cold colours in the outside.

The people in my class was learning new words,

like hello - malo e lelei,

thank you - malo, how are you? - fefe hake,

what is your name? Ko hai ho hingoa? And my name is? -

ko hoku hingoa ko. they learnt the words from

mrs.Tuakoi but I already know the words.

Ninja Chicks

This week we revisited writing a summary and taking notes.
My teacher read this story to us and we had to write a summary using the ‘W’ words.

Here is my summary:

mother got taken away from the big ugly fox, gretel and Hensel
couldn’t get because the fox was to strong.
Gretel and Hensel decided to be ninjas to protect
and defend their city. The fox came back for more.
gretel came and and stop the fox well Hensel
goes and sneak in and get mama.
Then Gretel superman punch then the fox ran away.
